Construction Project
›Current Construction Initiatives
- Transforming Hope Academic Centre: A Call for Support to Build a Safer, More Functional School: At Hope Academic Centre, we are committed to providing quality education in a safe and nurturing environment. However, our current infrastructure is severely limited, hindering our ability to fully serve our students and staff. With your support, we can address these critical needs and create a school that meets modern educational standards.
- Current State: Only one functional school building with 8 classrooms for all grades.
- Solution: Construct additional classrooms to reduce overcrowding and improve learning conditions.
- Current State: No dedicated staff room for teachers or administrative office for the principal.
- Solution: Build a staff room and principal’s office to enhance productivity and school management.
- Current State: The school is near a busy main road, posing a serious safety risk to students.
- Solution: Erect a secure fence to protect children from accidents and unauthorized access.
- Current State: No proper facility to prepare nutritious meals for our school feeding program.
- Solution: Construct a well-equipped kitchen to support student health and attendance.
- Current State: Only 4 toilets for the entire school, leading to long queues and hygiene issues.
- Solution: Build additional toilets to meet sanitation standards and improve student comfort.
- Current State: No space for assemblies and special programs—forcing outdoor gatherings.
- Solution: Construct a multi-purpose hall to host events and community activities.
- Enhance learning with better classrooms and facilities.
- Improve safety with a protective fence and proper sanitation.
- Boost student health through a functional kitchen and feeding program.
- Strengthen community engagement with a school hall for events.

›Ongoing School Gardenning Program
- Empowering Young Farmers: Support Hope Academic Centre’s School Garden Initiative: At Hope Academic Centre in Jamwelly Village, we’re nurturing the next generation of farmers, entrepreneurs, and sustainability leaders. Our thriving school garden—managed by enthusiastic nursery and primary students—is more than just a learning space; it’s a lifeline for children and their families. Under the guidance of dedicated teachers, students grow a variety of crops, including sorrel, onions, beans, okra, tomatoes, potatoes, and garlic. They don’t just learn farming—they experience the full cycle of planting, tending, harvesting, and selling their produce. The earnings are saved to support students during family financial hardships, fostering self-reliance, responsibility, and teamwork.
- Scale Up the Garden: More land, tools, and seeds mean greater harvests and more students benefiting.
- Launch a School Feeding Program: Nutritious meals from the garden will improve children’s health and concentration.
- Expand Market Opportunities: Partner with local markets, restaurants, or businesses to increase sales and sustainability.
- Enhance Education: Train students in advanced farming, financial literacy, and agribusiness skills.
- Sustainable Development: We’re teaching eco-friendly farming while combating food insecurity.
- Youth Empowerment: Students gain practical skills for future success.
- Community Impact Profits directly support students and families in need.
